Peaceful Valley Ranch is a real working ranch just for children right in Bandera, TX, the Cowboy Capital of the World. Located in the heart of the Hill Country on the beautiful banks of the Medina River, our 200-acre ranch welcomes young wranglers looking for an authentic ranch experience.

All of our programs are specifically designed for boys and girls, 3-11 years old. A colorful herd of gentle and small ponies, miles of trails for riding or hiking, some friendly pack llamas to carry our picnics, a flock of sheep to round up, a gently sloped pool to cool down in, the river and the creek to explore, themed air-conditioned accommodations, and much more; all the ingredients are there to make each child's visit or stay an unforgettable experience.

We offer year-round programs including pony riding lessons, ranch stays and pony discovery weeks, as well as a very exciting summer program for both day campers and residents. We are also a small ponies (only) training facility and do sell a few children's ponies each year. This is a true working ranch for children, and to assure each child's participation in all activities, we limit our enrollment to 12 children for all of our camps.
