Peaceful Valley Ranch International Children's and Ponies' Ranch of Bandera in the Texas Hill Country

Peaceful Valley Ranch International Children's and Ponies' Ranch of Bandera in the Texas Hill Country First, we would like to thank our wonderful group of parents. They are always ready to pitch in if necessary. Ms. Heather Hey (HRH miniatures) is one of our most fervent supporters and is always looking out for what could be needed, and we can always count on her to find unique rewards for the children after camps or clinics. Thank you so much for caring! We would also like to thank Ms. Amy Blair for her assistance in keeping our ponies in shape by longing or ground driving one or two of them, during her daughter's lessons. She is also a very reliable substitute rancher, when we have to be away, and does a wonderful job keeping up with our complicated feeding schedule! We really are lucky to have found you. Thank you!

Peaceful Valley Ranch International Children's and Ponies' Ranch of Bandera in the Texas Hill Country Leah Johnson, and her husband Mark, have been helping us getting this children's pony ranch a reality, before we even moved to Texas. Leah, from L and M equine Services, raise and train American Shetland ponies. She is a wonderful person to work with, and a great trainer as attested by her show records. She is always looking out for us, and spotting great ponies we could add to our herd. Leah is fun to be around and we love watching her at the shows, especially in the costume class, where she is very hard to beat! This year we will entrust her to show the first foal out of our small breeding program, our mascot Gypsy, now 1 year old. If you would like to look at some great show pictures, or want a young show Shetland, please go to www.Lwequineservices.com .

Thank you Leah and good luck in the 2005 show season!

Phyllis and Glenn Hopwood have been helping us since we know them. They advise us on which ponies could become good youth show ponies, and loaned us carts and harnesses to get our youth driving program started. They also entrusted us with 2 beautiful mares, Cookie and Red Rock, for both 2004 and 2005. Cookie is a wonderful and very pretty driving mare the children really like, who can also jump, both in hand and under saddle. Red Rock, a lovely bay pinto mare, is also a great all-around pony, and is teaching our young riders the basics. The club would not be the same without those girls. Thank you Phyllis and Glenn. We truly appreciate your continuous support!
